watched american idol last night. =D i was hyper again =D because Megan Corkrey performed last night. ;D I've been following and watching this season 7 since day one and now, i wish she gets voted in the top 12 tonight. She's my favourite, for now. OR Adam Lambert too ! Because he' so aaahhhh ! XD i loved when he sang 'satisfaction' last night, it was so oohhhhlala ! HAHA lol majal. XD
Anyway, the school celebration went fine yesterday. Except for our choir, went a lil' trainwreck ;/ i think. because of some 'technical difficulties', and we were only provided with two mics wah ! -,-'
Well, at least the 'penurunan bendera' in the afternoon went really perfect ! ;D and we met a few of the instructors, and the guys again ! :D

I was really hyper and very excited yesterday. ( and tadi jua ) Not only did si Mea, si WANY ! AND AND FATIHAH ! XD joined the interschool choir competition yesterday but Achha, Zeyah and BEYBEH JOINED today AS WELL ! XD We're back as a team again ! HAHA lol ;) too bad Muna didn't want to :/
AndAnd yay ! i'm back in the tenor with Azy ! ;D but we're called as the sopranos now. We met with Abg FENDI !, Abg Awang and Haziq ! I was more excited because we missed them so much ! :D Our song choice is 'Sedia Berbakti', the other girls, Azyan, Quini, Myra .. auditioned and made the parts as well and now, i think we're doing just fine after only 2 days of practice for the pemilihan or 'saringan' THIS SATURDAY ! Though i hope we have an extra practice session on this friday. Ohh well anyway, WISH US LUCK !
Tomorrow's probably gonna be a busy busy day for me. I have two choir events awaiting; in the morning in school ( National Day Celebration ) and in the afternoon at Taman Soasc. ( the 'penurunan bendera besar' ). can't wait ! ;D AND of course, i have my next doctor's appointment right after the school celebration tomorrow =.=~ yyeah.
I also had a brief meeting regarding the literature UK trip ( WHICH ! will be in only 3 weeks time ! XD ) this afternoon, with the teachers and the other lit students. Good thing si Leen sama Izzah joined the trip too ! or i'll totally be the loner. haa~ because actually, the trip was only meant for the form five's but Ckg. Seri Ainey ( my elite teacher, who, basically brought me up on this whole literature world ! :D ) tagged me along, which i think was so sweet and generous of her ;]

Brunei's 25th National Day went so perfect this morning ! The day could not have gone better ..being there, at the stadium, on stage, singing proudly the very patriotic songs, along with all the other guys ( AND GALS :D ) who i've spent practically most of the time with the past month, the flashing cameras, ( THE HEAT ! lol joke ;p ), the amazing adrenalin, i loved it !
Now it's all over ! :( It was so sad ! D': ( Though it was kinda a relief when it ended but yyea. ) This made us wished that we could sing for the national day every year ! haa x)

On this very eventful and festive day, not to forget jua a happy birthday to Azy and Saadah ! :)

Saturday was the last day of our choir practice. Guess i could say it was the sadest day of all. :'( Almost all of us cried, even the guys too i think ! :'D We spend the rest of the evening reminiscing the moments and all .. haa ~ then we all, even the instructors, had to pick any memorable songs to sing upfront. Me, Eqah, Shana and uhh si Farah decided to be in one group. We sang i miss you by Miley Cyrus, kau terlalu istimewa by Sharifah Aini i think and my all by Mariah ! damn, it was so sad ! especially when we had to face them all :')
I'LL TOTALLY GONNA MISS THOSE MOMENTS ! i am now. :'D

We didn't have any practice at the stadium today. All the form four's have normal lessons. This goes to other schools too, i think ? but i only had 1 period of a.maths in the morning ! :D because us choir was called for practice in the CR2. x) Ckg. Hajah Rose, my a.maths teacher teased and called me and Tuyah sinners when we left the class ! ;D lol.
Our instructors and the guys came to stpri. We succesfully ( as Abg Awang have said ) finished practicing the two new songs we've learned with harmonising. Semangat merdeka and Sedia Berbakti. Lawaaa ! :] gosh, i wished i was back in the tenor group. oh ! have i mentioned ? i was forced to put in the soprano's. and Nizah too because we were all too loud together ! :( And the soprano pulang inda loud while they were supposed to be ;/ so yyea ~ Nothing's bad being in the soprano of course, in fact it's the most important part of all, i've learned. It's just that i loveee singing harmonising and i LOVE singing them together with Azy, Saadah, Nizah, Leen sama si Fii. :( i hope i'm back in the tenor group for the interschool choir competition ;P
ANYWAY ! The supposedly real story here is, when it was time for the guys to head back to school, Abg Awang asked one voulenteer to come infront and say something since it was their last day in stpri he said. si Shah did, and when he finished talking, they all made him sing. He sang 'Kenangan Terindah', and the girls started having teary eyes ! I tried to hold it but then, when i saw them all crying i couldn't help but burst into tears myself :'D I guess what we thought about that time was that this lovely choir is going to be over after the 23rd .. GOSH it was a really sad moment ! i love choir and i WISHED we had more time to spend with each other :'p cause we all really, kinda bonded especially with the instructors ! gosh, i can't imagine how sad it's really going to be on the 23rd ! Lagi tia kali. Banjir ni stage ! X'( lol. But you know, i'm really, very proud to be part of the choir team this year. and i'm glad jua i chose this. I've learned a lot from the last few weeeks. Believe me, i used to hate the patriotic songs and i don't get`em but now, i feel very lucky to sing them for Brunei's 25 years SILVER JUBILEE celebration ! :') ehhh bahh, this post is getting longer. i love choir ! Done !

As mentioned, we had a choir performance again at the second flag raising day, the 'kenaikan bendera kecil' that was held at Rizqun today. I didn't think it went quite well. -_= Most of the songs that were played was not even the ones we practiced for ! In fact, we didn't even know the songs ! I think they were the instructors punya lagu. ( the instructors have 36 songs while we have 26 ) Only the instructors sang the parts, while we smiled and pretended to know the songs ! haa ~ -,- Even Abg. Awang, our head instructor or our conductor, got behind the mic and sang-along. aiyoo ~ But we all had fun though ;D besides, i don't think the people who attended the ceremony even noticed it. I think they were too busy looking at the vehicles with the mini flags. (; and and, our second baju was a t-shirt, very yellow ! :D haa.

Right after the ceremony was over, we headed back to KKBS. ( Kementrian Kebudayaan, Belia dan Sukan ) yyea that is where we've been having our practices. We rested for a couple of hours there. We all had this really (Y) nasi katok for lunch :D We also did an acticity where each and every one of us had to go in front and sing one good song. I had no choice but to choose because of you by Kelly Clarkson because that was the only song that i had in mind and i was the first girl to sing ! -,- Feeling very, very, VERY nervous, i suddenly froze upon reaching the high part and my voice tarus 'pacah' ! DX gosh i should've just let it out ! ( instead of chickened out =___=" hehh that's just me ! ) That was a REALLY embarassing moment , i feel like i wanted to cry and ran away from the stage ! haha apaan but of course i didn't. ;)

We left KKBS at 2 and went to the stadium for the first time. We only had a sound check there. and YAY ! our stage be atap ! :D haha. Another good thing, we own this small and comfy room ( with THREE air-cons xD ) behind our stage where we can rest and all. siuuuukk ! haha ;D If you see a 'kumpulan koir putera putri darussalam' sign, that's the place ! :D
We finished at about four and me, Azy, Eqah and Shana walked over to icc and to the carnival. Faiz and Muaz went there too. :) We just hang and walked around. Too bad my dad fetched me realy earlyl ! I asked him to fetch me at 7 when he did so at 5 ! -,- There goes me seeing the haunted house ~AND it turns out, that my brother, zimin was there the whole time ! -,- ohh well, it's over now ! ;0

ahhhhhh ~~ ANYWAY, the kenaikan bendera thing went super today ( AND it was also SUPER HOT ! "berabisly". =___+ ) We only sang 3 songs though. but it went reeeally well, we were live on tv this morning ! =D HAHA LOL. The sad part was, i totally FORGOT to bring my camera along ! D: I could have taken lots of pictures of us with our new baju ! hehe. :D but then again, we have our second "gig" this coming sunday again, the kenaikan bendera kecil ;)

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know, it's been a while. I've been so tired from all the choir practices. We finish at 5:30 now =___= then i have to shower and stuff and do all homeworks. ( and sometimes, i end up doing them in the morning in school =___= ) That;s why i've been too lazy to do any update. But here i am right now so hooraayy for me ! xD
Anyway, choir has DEFINITELY been very fun ! ( though there were some unpleasantness moments happened:/ ) I hung out and practiced with them Azy, Rau, Eqah, Shana, Farah, Nizah, Mai, Saadah and the rest of you cool people ;D *big grin* haha. Our baju LAWAAA ! and YAY, mine's in my favorite colour ! Yesss people, HOT PINK ! X) We're going to wear it in our performance this Sunday. Our first gig ! :D haha. We have this Kenaikan Bedera thing at the Taman. Wish us luck ! I'm also hafal-ing the patriotic song lyrics right now. hee. Oh ! and i'm in the soprano's now. :) was forced to move there so yyeah.
